At Fremont we offer two packages.  Each Package will consist of Behind the Wheel and Testing.  Here are the brief details of each package.

The Driver's Education Package consists of Theory (on campus classroom instruction), Range, Behind the Wheel, and the Road Test.  This is the most popular choice.

Behind the Wheel Package
The Behind the Wheel Package consists of only Range, Behind the Wheel, and the Road Test.  This package is usually used for those who have already completed a classroom course in the state of Utah or online but needs to complete the road portion only.

PAYMENT

Please make payment directly to the bookkeeper at Fremont High School.  You may sign up and register for a class without payment...HOWEVER, if you have not made a payment to the bookkeeper two weeks prior to the start date of the intended session, your student will be removed from the class.  Once you have paid, please fill out the blue card (located in the main office at Fremont) and staple the receipt to it.  The bookkeeper will deliver the card and the receipt to our department and we will then mark you down as paid.

Behind the Wheel

Students may enroll in driver education at Fremont High as soon as they turn fifteen years old and have obtained a driving permit. The law requires students to hold a permit for at least six months prior to receiving a license. It is the discretion of the parents when the student should enroll in the course.

Our Goal

Fremont's Drivers Ed goal is to help students and those eligible to obtain a Utah Driver License under the guidelines of the Graduated Driver License (GDL) program adopted in 2005.

Located in Plain City Utah, Fremont High School serves the communities of Marriott-Slaterville, Harrisville, West Weber, Hooper, Taylor, Plain City, and Farr West. The student-body of Fremont High School is made up of students from Rocky Mountain and Wahlquist Junior High Schools, in grades ten through twelve.
